Time For Tea - Reflections Of Israel

Project Details:
Organised By: Union Of Jewish Students With Jewish Care And The Holocaust Survivors Centre
Project Details: 'Time for Tea' will be a UJS London event, joint with Jewish Care and the Holocaust Survival Centre (HSC), looking at what Israel means through different generations of time. UJS have got 20 students to attend and the idea is to mix the groups with different ages (old age to young students), there will be questions on each table asking what Israel means to you and also props such as an Israeli flag, a picture of Jerusalem, a star, poems, words, music... all asking what these images/words mean to you in terms of Israel. How do you relate to Israel through these images?

The aim is to film the event to create a legacy video to use as an educational resource. The event can be replicated around the country, meeting with other students and residents in old age homes, connecting the generations and reflecting on Israel
